I have an early RK1 head serial # 00249 and I notice that the front panel is different from most of the other RK1 heads that I have seen or come across. The front of mine has the small non vented Mesa Engineering Logo on it and most of what I see has the wide vented front on it.
Are there any other differences between mine and the vented models? I know people talk about early Dual recs and how they may or may not have some different components.
I am just curious to hear if anyone knows of any other differences between these, or is it's just a cosmetic (or perhaps funtional) change that Mesa made in the first year or 2 of the RK1's existence.
