I already had a vintage halfback 4x12 with MC-90's and a horizontal Recto 2x12 with V30's. But, I just couldn't resist picking up a vintage halfback 2x12 today. I had one once and let it go in a moment of weakness. For $225 I got a totally clean cabinet with the OEM EVM-12L in it. I ran it side by side with the Recto 2x12. I thought I loved the Recto 2x12, but it sounded nasally compared to the halfback. The halfback is just so clear and natural sounding, with a big presence and power from that EV down below. Whew. I forget how great these halfbacks were. Now I just have to figure out when to use the 2x12 vs. the 4x12. Or, perhaps I put the Mark V head over the 2x12 and the soon to arrive Royal Atlantic on the 4x12.

I think the neighbors may be in trouble.

That would be fun. I've got the Mark V in a headshell with the 4x12 at one studio, and the MkV's quilt maple combo cab at home. I have other amp/cabs at another studio, and a bunch at home..... I'll see what I can do for you.....Porn is good on a friday, eh?

Here is the porn.
From left to right-

Missing is the Mark V head on 4x12 halfback cab.
