I've just purchased a Recto 2X12 Horizontal and was wondering if there was any differnce between that and a Vetical...except of course the measurements!

I think I'd like to have the head a little higher, so I don't have to bend down as much to switch settings! I don't want to compromise any of the sound, though.

Are they the same price... I'm gonna check the price list!

If I got the horizontal, I'd get a good amp stand for it.

I have 4 single-12 cabinets. Three are Thiele's, one is an open-back. One of the Thiele's is an EV. I can mix, match & stack 'em. For now, I stack two under my amp and place a 3rd on the other side of the stage. Great for stereo effects and "presence." I can lower my volume and still be heard significantly better.

For small gigs, just one is all I need. Very compact and easy to move.
