Yesterday i was looking at the back of my amp and the cable connected to the 8ohm jack in the back of the amp came out. As soon as it came all the way out I put it right back in. Since the cable came out while the amp was on but I wasn't playing it does that mean there is still damage to the amp? It seems to be fine because I used it at a show last night. I was just wondering what signs to look for if the amp is damaged. Thanks alot. Stupid mistake like this piss me off. hah. Thanks a lot.

If you put it back in straight away it should be ok. It makes no difference if you're playing or not, but it would be ok if it happened while in standby.

the major issue with that happening is it can gernate a flyback voltage which can fry your OT or power tubes. If the amp sounds i wouldn't worry about it.
