I have a Maverick 4-10 that has been picking up radio stations. I first thought it was the tubes but have tracked it down to the clean channnel treble knob. I
pulled the chassis last night and found a bare jumper wire going from the treble pot to the volume knob. It didn't look original but when I disconnected it I got no volume. I then unsoldered the pot, sprayed it out and resoldered it. Now it sounds fine. My question is what is that jumper wire for, because I do not see it on the circuit blueprint that I have. Thanks.
