External Switching Using a Midi Controller

I am using a Behringer FCB1010 Midi controller. I know that I can change channels of my amp head thru my TC G-Major. Which input would I put the cable in on the back of the amp? External switching channel or external switching loop? Thanks.

External Channel will switch the channels. External loop will switch the effects loop's bypass on and off.

yes the g-major i believe has a stereo relay (use an insert cable to split
the two relays to two seperate ext switch jacks) and the FCB1010
has two relays of its own for a total of 4.
there are other midi controlled multi relays made as well, john
petrucci uses about 16 billion of them in his rig(s).
ideally, one for the 3 main channels, one for loop, and one for solo
on a standard dual or t-rec.
