I just bought a used TC-50 with a horizontal 2x12 cabinet. I've always used combo amps so this is my first head and cab set up. Is there any difference between the two Speaker outputs? I know that hooking up my single 8 ohm 2x12 cabinet I should have the switch set to 8 ohms but I was just wondering if it mattered which output I hooked up to. I didn't see anything in manual which leads me to believe it doesn't really matter.

Either of the speaker outs on the head is fine. They are in parallel. Assuming it’s a Mesa 212, set the head for 8 ohm.
