Hey all - is anyone using an EQ pedal with their RA? I tried a Maxon EQ in the loop of my RA and it added a ton of noise - is that typical when using an EQ pedal? Anyone having better results with a different pedal? I'm not completely sold on using one at all anyways, just trying something new. Thanks!
 
I have, I got the Mesa 5 band EQ and have not noticed any noise in the loop. I have also used delays with the same result.

If you have any other pedals, try them in the RA100 loop. If there is noise you may be due for a replacement V3 (12AT7). You can try other brands, and the NOS tubes in the 12AT7 category will cost about the same as new. I am currently using an RFT 12AT7 which works great.
