Calling TA 15 owners - is it possible to dial some pushed classic Tweed tones such as Keith Richard Rolling Stones as well as some more Marshall AC/DC crunch?

Is it possible with this little amp?

I'm asking as I'm sort of thinking of selling my 5e3 clone if the TA can get these tones.

Thanks.

I would say yes but tone is a subjective thing so as always it's best to check one out for yourself.

Yes you can, but because the Tweed and the H1 (Marshall-esque) modes both feature in Channel 2, you can't footswitch between them for live use.

On HI 1 i like to crank the master all the way up or almost all the way up and then start to bring up the gain as needed. Of course selecting the 5-15-25watt to your needs. I find this gives a "cleaner" marshall sound. More power amp and less peramp gain. Still working on a good Tweed setting. Of course you can use the opposite master/gain settings to get more gain in the H1 mode and push it with a boost/od
