I'm running a Metal Zone (spare me the comments) into my Dyne.

Dyne 45W, Presense 12:00, Bass 1:00, Mid 12:00, Treble 1:00, Volume 2:30, CLEAN mode
MZ level 11:00, Bass all the way up, treble 10:00, mid 1:30, mid freq 11:00, dist 12:00. This can be fizzy depending on which guitar I use.

I got some advice from the recto folks about quintessential recto metal tone, and I think this is pretty close. The feel may not be there, but it sounds very good to my ears.

Try it!

Seems like a lot of people hate this pedal. I have had some quite good results and some not good results. I could never get it to sound good with a Mark. But the Active parametric EQ is very powerful. It's VERY tweekable, but also very difficult to find the right settings. I had given up on this particular case, and was turning the knobs randomly out of frustration, and just happened to hit exactly what I had been looking for.
