Yo guys,

trying to get close to JPs tone on A Rite Of Passage with a Triaxis/2:90/Recto 4x12....
You know, that crunchy crushing bold Rhythm tone as well as that soaring liquid dripping lead tone....

Any suggestions concerning settings welcome!!!

I just got my 2:90 and this is what I came up with. It's not exact, but I find it close enough. And for reference, I am using a blue light 2:90, a stiletto/ rectifier traditional cab, and my levels are reasonably high, around 9 o'clock on both channels of the 2:90. Also, this is using a JP6 with the CL/LF combo.

Here is the reference tone I used http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asgt5cLdX9c

It is the guitar stem from the album, and my settings are LD2 red G: 7 T: 5.5 M: 4.5 B: 1 LD2DR: 6 Master: 4.5 Pres: 3 DV:5
I hope that gets you close!

Awesome, tks y lot for the replay! I been away for quite some time and just saw (and heard) this..... this is super-close!!
I´ll give them settings a try during next rehearsal...
