Hi, when I flip off standby I get no sound. I know all the preamp tubes are good and the sockets have been cleaned and there’s nothing that appears loose in the sockets. When I plug into the fx return I get no sound. I assume it’s power tubes. Also, are there any internal fuses on the 35? Or just the main fuse on the back of the amp?

Thanks

silly question, but is the speaker turned on and plugged in correctly?

Yup, all good there. The power tubes still light up, two of them look like they have burn type marks in the sides.

I think, if you blew the fuse, the power tubes wouldn’t light up. I remember that happening on my Mark III at a gig. I thought it was the power strip....

It sounds like your problem is in the power section. It may be the pair of EL-84s are receiving bad power, since they both have sparks and burn marks. If you can’t spot the problem immediately, take it to a qualified tech.
