Dumb question, but what's under the tolex? I thought I saw somewhere that it was birch. I'm getting bored with the "Black Taurus" and thought about stripping it and finishing off the wood. Hmm...maybe I could just try and build a head shell and go that route instead. Anyhow, if ya know and have pics of it stripped of tolex let me know...thanks!!
