I'm looking at a 112 extension cab for my MarkV35 combo and am wondering what to go for from 3 options.
It would be good to get opinions from you all...

112 Thiele compact cab
112 wide body closed back
112 wide body open back

TIA

Hello.

From those you listed I’ve tested the thiele with EVM and widebody closed back... My personal preference would be closed back and from the ones I had, the widebody closed back was the winner. The thiele with evm could be harsh in certain settings and if my memory serves right thiele is extremely directional, more than widebody.

I hate open backs so that leaves those options out of equation :) (C90 in open back is horrible - at least in my ears)

I use the 27" wide openback 1X12 cab that was for the old Lonestar Classic head with my MV:35 combo when I need to move a lot more air - outdoor summer gigs or real big stages (more summer outdoor than real big stages ;-) and the amp just really opens up nicely. I also use that cab with my TA15 head. Very nice cab for a lot of different material.
