I have intermittent issues with the Din cable controlling the footswitch on my MKV, it does work when I get it to seat completely but it is pretty finicky.
Once working it will work for a good long time but any jostling or bumping the amp can cause me to lose some functions ( mainly the FX and solo sometimes more ) something I just loose the effects when playing a bit of wiggling and reseating will restore function of the switch.
It there a trick or fix that some have done that make the connection more constant ( reliable ).
I have it strain relieved thru the handle at the moment. it would be far to finicky to gig in its present state.
The issue is at the amp end of the connection for me.
Thanks for any input

I just loop it through the handle so it's coming in from above, rather than below. Works flawlessly for me in every situation. I use that in both the 90 and 35 watt versions.

I find the connection can be iffy at the footswitch end too.

Check the ground. That can be a problem with that type of cable.
