Just as the title state...what pedals are you using to hit the front end? What channel? How are you using it?

Mojomojo from TC. Had the various Tubescreamers but like the TC alot on the mark I Mode and Mark iv/v modes.

I have a TS808 mini. The main dial is set very low, almost off, at 8-9 o‘clock or so. The volume is set to maybe 2 o‘clock or 3. The tone dial is noonish or so. It is used a boost when I use the crunch channel and for breakup on channel 1.

For the more extreme metal side of the spectrum, I find the amp prefers fatter boosts as opposed to a TS style mid bump (at least to my ears, using Mark IV or Extreme on pentode), so I use a TC Spark set to "Fat", or an MXR Custom Badass Modified OD with the 100hz boosted a bit while backing off on the tone control slightly. Saturates and thickens nicely.

...And their clean filter as well

Interesting suggestions; the VFE, I assume is a new company? Never heard of them before, the pedal description is intriguing. I think I am looking for something that would fatten up the tone and/or send the amp into singing feedback; if possible at somewhat lower volume.
