Foot switch ch3 intermittent not toggling

Hello,

The ch3 switch on my mark v head footswitch started to fail. I have to press it a few times in order to toggle ch3. I tried to swap the cable ends but no luck. Could it be a switch malfunction? How can I test it? This is my home amp with very little use.

Problem solved! It was a bad switch. I Had to remove it from the footswitch board and completely disassemble the ch3 switch to check inside it.

To anyone which is either a guitar player AND a engineer ( :mrgreen: ): very simple mechanism with a metal plate hold by springs on each site. When you press the switch the plate contact the two poles and the amp assign to the channel. I guess the plate was a little bent and was not touching one of the poles.

It is better to simply replace the switch but I need it working today.
