I have recently purchased a Boogie Mark V:25 and planned on using my HD500 via the 4CM for effects as well as a clean sound. However, when I have everything hooked up via 4CM, I noticed a drop in gain and bass frequencies from my amp. Here's what my pod is set to:
HD500 Settings:
Guitar Input Pad - Normal
Master Volume - 100%
1/4" Out - Amp
Loop Level - Stomp
System Output - stack power amp (system settings)
I used to use this setup with my Quad Preamp running into the power amp of a tube combo, and I never noticed a drop in Gain. I did have to balance the volume of just the Quad/Tube Combo by itself and having the Pod hooked up via 4CM.
Is the issue the non master volume on the amp? Or the lack of a effects loop level control?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
