Folks I feel like a fool. I bought a used MK5 combo. When I set a EQ on any channel to FS, the footswitch does not toggle it on or off. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I think so. Granted the amp is used. I did have in the past have a dual rectifier, and the FS cable appears to be similar to the one my Dual Rec.
The light does switch on and off according to how the channels are set, it just cant seem to toggle off and on the EQ via the footswitch.

seems like a cable reseating and a reboot cleared this out.
