I am curious about these cabs also. There doesn’t seem to be too many demos/opinions of the Mesa LS 4x10, but here is vid of Andy Timmons playing through one.

Thanks for the response. I've listened to this clip a couple of times. But, maybe it's just me, I'm distracted by the low action of the Strat. There's too much fret noise/string rattle when he increases his pick attack. The 4x10's are out there, but no side by side with 2x12's either. Not willing to spend the big bucks. PRS has a 4x10 cabinet, but they are loaded with Celestion 10's that are several hundred dollars less in price.

Have you seen the Quinten Hope demo? He's playing through a 4x10 and a 2x12. Although, he doesn't A/B the cabinets.

Thanks a lot for the link. I hadn't heard of this guitarist before, but as most, once they get their hands on a 100 Watt Lonestar head, that's it. Done. As for me, I think I'm going to default to just Lonestar 2x12...The only 4x10 cabinets I've seen(new) are being offered north of $800...way outside my price point and budget.

Bought a Lonestar 2x12 off of Mr.Reverb. Sounds fantastic with the 100 watt Lonestar head.

Nice! I am also in the market for a new cabinet for my LSC. I have considered the 4x10 but there are too few demos out there and as you said...a little too much money to blow on something I haven't heard. I am considering a Port City 2x12. Keep hearing great things about them.
