Metal butterfly surrounds - ??
I am new to Lonestar ownership and am curious about the 'butterfly'-like fixings through which each power tube sits? At first I thought they were some sort of retaining feature, but I can now see they don't actually contact the tubes? So what are they for?

If used correctly they DO contact the tube base! In fact, they should bite into the base of the tube, which helps secure hanging tubes.
