LS 110V to 220V powertransformer swap?

Post by Klaja » Mon Dec 12, 2016 4:54 am

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a used LS 2x12" combo. I live i Denmark and currently there is a used one for sale. However it's with a 110V powertransformer. It comes with a stepdowntransformer but I would like to get rid of that...

I can only find this replacement transformer online :

Can I use that in a "non special" LS?

This is the one you are looking for for the classic Lonestar.
Check description, you will see Lonestar mentioned there.
I did a conversion using that transformer, works like a charm.
Be carefull, some wires are different colours, check schematic.
Good luck
