I have recently purchased a new to me (used) Lone Star classic and if I have the reverb turned up at all on either channel there is a hum present. The more I turn up the master the more hum I hear. It's pretty annoying. But if I turn the reverb down(off) the hum goes away. I can dime the master and not a peep.
I can live with no reverb and in fact I've got a nice reverb pedal that I can put in the line but I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what you did about it?
I should mention the is a head, not a combo.

I would almost bet money that there is an issue with your V4 pre-amp tube. The V4 12AX7 controls or powers the reverb, for your amp If you have a spare 12AX7 pre-amp tube laying around swap it out - if not they are not that expensive.
Hope that helps!
