Hey!
I have a friend that has a Classic 10-50-100 2x12.

He is having a problem that we can't find the answer to.

When he strums his guitar, the amp acts like it has a tremolo, sound in and out type of thing.

We have disconnected the pedal board, rolled through the power tubes (they all seem to be good), played in 10-50-100 watts (not as strong in 10-50 of course), turned off the rectifier tube and it continues.

Any help will be great.

Thanks!!

Hey- so you indicated that you checked the power tubes- but did you check your pre-amp tubes for microphonic issues as well?
Off the cuff thats what it sounds like to me from your description- the other thing that could have some effect- but borderline unlikely - is that there may be a bad power source feeding your amp variances of power - a Furman power supply/strip could help with that- but again unlikely- since this issue has came about as of late- Id simply check your pre amp tubes though till you find the culprit
