Greetings from Denmark.

Now I have swapped me to my first Mesa Boogie.

I got a Mesa Boogie LoneStar Classic 212.

How will you categorize the sound of a Mesa Boogie LoneStar Classic with 6L6 ?

Is Mesa Boogie LoneStar Classic additional versatile in sound?

Is it possible to compare Mesa Boogie LoneStar Classic with classic sounds from Fender, Marshall, Vox, Orange etc.

What are your favourite sounds on Mesa Boogie LoneStar Classic?

I'm running 6L6s and usually at 100w.
The best clean sound I've heard, regardless of volume. Reminds me of a Fender Twin but even better.

I've used both 6L6 and EL34's. Right now I am using EL34's. I find there's almost no loss of low end, especially at low to moderate volume and the EL34's add a little firmness and "push" to the sound. I was playing with a country ish group and needed a little more bite to cut through, so the EL34's just tightened up the sound, but still it is a beautiful, blooming clean. I agree that it is one, if not the, best clean tone. I recall the cleans in my Bogner Shiva as being just as gorgeous, but I am a mesa guy.

You can't go wrong with this amp.
