Hello everyone :) Finaly've received my new LSC custom in 4A flame maple. I love love love the cleans channel, dunno I've not even tried the OD one (who the hell needs it at all :)) The wood is very beautiful etc. But I've been very disapointed with the reverb. I've read a lot 'bout lonestars' reverb unit, which is admited as the boogie's best reverbs, but it's so mmm weak, I can hardly notice it, is it suiteable for surf music at all? Can someone post sample with maxed reverb on lonestar? I've read that there're a lot of bugs with reverb in "out-of-box" brand new lonestars, I've double checked reverb's cables and tried it with ext. switch with no results... Well I hear some reverb but, it's not enough for me :( Should I throw away another $1k for fender '63 reverb or it's just a bug (well a bugs in custom made $7k brand new mesa  it seems a bit strange for me)

Here's a vid of the reverb.

Thanks a lot guys, I've not recognized what the guy on the video said, but I've got the same reverb level on max... Well, I've hoped for someth like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSHGeOD8HGQ :)

Nop, that's why I've asked for video with maxed reverb :) I was disapointed with reverb level of lonestar so...

To play surf music I'd get the Fender '63 Reverb unit you mentioned. I keep the reverb setting on my Deluxe Reverb on like 0.5 and it's plenty for me. Crank it to 4 or 5 and you're in Dick Dale territory.
