Can an LSS fit into a LSC combo shell?

I'd love to have a 2x12 for my LSS. It seems that one of the more economical ways of achieving that maybe putting into an existing 2x12 combo. The LSC 2x12 seems more abundant than the LSS. Anyone know if I can make that work?
 
If memory serves me correct, the answer is yes. There was someone who was looking into it on this forum. A search might reveal that thread. It was a couple of years ago. Or....djw has both. Maybe we can coax him to chime in with a couple of measurements to confirm the dimensions.
 
Hey, sorry I'm late to the party. Yes, that will work. Shouldn't be *too* hard to find someone who has swapped out of a 2x12 combo... you might even be able to trade, if they're into loading theirs into the narrower 1x12 LSS cabinet.
