I have been using the clean channel in hard bypass on my Lonestar classic and discovered the clean sound I have been searching for. I found myself using the dirty channel less, although I love what it has to offer in dirty tones. I just found myself preferring to play the clean channel more; I use three overdrives and a compressor for different tones. I love the snap and clarity of the notes with the amp set to hard bypass. All my effects sound clearer and overdrives sound crisper and the clean tone is wonderful.
Anyone else play the clean channel in hard bypass?

Why would you use anything else on a Lonestar, than the CL channel with some reverb?
That's heaven, Andy Timmons way

Yeah I prefer clean channel on the Hard Bypass. But, I use based-time effeects so I must use the loop. Wonder why it is different...

I prefer clean channel with the Hard Bypass. Nothing comes close.
