Hey all
I did a dummy and tripped over my Mesa Lonestar classic cord and ripped out the ground prong ..... !@#$% - Anyway my Wife has a Fender TV10 combo and it has the same cord/connector combination - but its 18awg compared to my 16 awg cord - Im going into the city to grab a replacement tommorow - can I use the 18awg cord for the day?
I know its prolly a dumb question but I dont wanna mess up this beautiful sounding combo!!
Cheers

I'm pretty sure you can use that power cable as the amp is not drawing that much current. Look on the back and see what the fuse rating is, I'm guessing it's like my Mark V which is 2A (IIRC), if so, any power cable should work. I think the gauge differences only matter after 5 or so amps. As long as it isn't a flimsy little cable, and is grounded you should be okay. If you want to be double safe, give Mesa a call right now, they should be open for another hour or so.

it'll be fine. heck, the power cable from your computer will work too.
