First I have seen some posts but I'm wondering about the suhr riot, the wampler plextortion , and cmatmods ratified pedals? I do currently use the wampler hot wired and the cmatmods signa and both are awesome, but I am curious about the fore mentioned. I like the ones I have but I'm always looking for something a little different depending on the music I m playing.Any opinions or feedback on these would be great!

I use a Wampler Superplex with my LSS. I find I need to have the treble quite high and the mids and bass low, (I am talking about the pedal controls here, though the same could be said about the amp controls) but it i sounds very good fo higher gain tones. For more restrained tones the Wampler Ecstasy works really well, sounds lovely to me. I also have a Fulltone 69 MKII which works well and a BYOC triangle muff also very nice. For reference I go for more classic rock tones, Purple, Floyd and the like and use these pedals through the gain channel set for moderate to low distortion.

I bought both the suhr riot and super plextortion they are both equally as good I do prefer the wampler with the LSS as well very usable it now has a permanent home on my pedalboard.

It's not that I don't love really expensive gear (see also my Mesa Boogie Lonestar) but I hooked a MXR Bad *** '78 into my LSC and it did the "punch over the growl" thing I have been looking for for a long time. It just brought the crunchy, compressed, sparkly sound I couldn't get with the amp alone.

This is CH2, Drive OFF, and then I step on the Bad *** '78 (basically set to Noon, One and Three) ... oh and then the iPhone... well you'll see.

I have a few mxr pedals and they do sound good, but they seem to be noisy and I dont like using noisegates it changes the dynamics of the the amp, I chose the pedals that seem to not only be transparent but quiet as well. I have not tried the 78 and have heard good thing but I was tried severalas I stated and just assumed it would be noisy.
