Andy Timmons Lonestar Tone Test Clips

Hi all,

I just picked up a Zoom Q3 for a good price and wanted to see how the audio sounded. I recorded a couple of short clips with my Lonestar 2x12 combo.

I just turned it on, set it between my amp and computer and hit record. Please view this as a tone test and not a skill test. The gear description is contained in the clips. I hope you enjoy them.

I've been thinking of picking up a recorder like the Zoom. I thought it sounded great.

Thanks for the reply! Now that the Q3 HD is out, the prices on the older blue model have really come down. I paid like $98 for the blue Q3.
For the high quality audio combined with okay video, it may be worth taking a look. Also, check some other You Tube demos to see the video as well.

Identical tone, espec the first clip, sounds great.

Thought your tone was awesome, on the first clip, really like the fullness of the sound. Your playing is good too!
