Running patch cable in LSS efx loop?

Hey All,

This was a trick I used to do with my MKIII. I always thought the amp sounded better/smoother.

Is it safe to do this with the LSS?

It won't hurt it. I do notice a huge difference when I use the hard bypass. My LSS is louder.

It's louder because you're taking the output level out of the loop. It would be the same volume as cranking the output to "10".

So whick is better to not hard bypass the loop or run a patch cable?
