Compressor After Overdrive

I know everyone has their own preference and there are different schools of thought on the matter, but switching my setup has completely changed my tone. I've always run the compressor before my overdrive. Generally it went, tuner > wah > COMP > etc. I figured I'd give running the BB preamp into the compressor today and voilà! My tone is much more dynamic and responsive to my playing. Robert Keeley has mentioned to try it this way and I don't know why I've waited so long to try it. Just thought I'd share.

Interesting, I've always used mine this way. It actually never occurred to me to put a compressor in front of an overdrive.

Now I have to try it, just to see what the difference is.
