I actually played the Lonestar combo at a shop recently, then had them hook it up to a Recto 2*12 cab they had there, because of what Andy Timmons had said about it sounding great. It really did. I didn't sit and nitpick a lot because I didn't have time, but it did seem a bit more focused.

I've ordered the Lonestar Classic Head, and seeing that I'm using this for studio, I am wondering whether the 2*12 Lonestar cab with the C90s in it would sound fine for recording. I like the way the cab matches the head. The Recto cab I know will sound good, but unless you get the 4*12 it's this odd shaped thing sitting low to the ground, etc.

Opinions welcome...thanks!
Tom
