the Sovtek I put in last Feb to replace the one year old stock MB rec tube went today. I think it was a $12 tube. I checking out what's available but would be grateful for some guidance if you have something you liked.
$30-40 is OK
 
A friend of mine got one of these and it sounds great in his Tremoverb. I will replace mine as well with one also, in my LCS, when mine goes out. And it's been 4 years with this mesa tube, hmm. https://ssl.eurotubes.com/cart/index.php?page=view_products&category_id=4&sub_category_id=26
 
I have one of those GZ34's in my Trem-o-verb, and just put one in my LSC, and I'm very happy with the sound, much better than the stock Mesa tubes. Bob at Eurotubes said that they last a long time too.
