Hi there,

I just bought an Express 5.25 Plus. I am really very happy with the amp. I love all the sounds in the two modes of each channel.
The only issue is the high volume for practice in the night. The 5 watts option is still too loud, so I've been thinking to get an Attenuator.
After some research I found this two that are under my budget. They have good references for what I've seen.
-JHS Little Black Amp Box
-Swart Night Light Attenuator & Stereo Drive
I know that the JHS is a line level attenuator that allows me to drive only the preamp section, and the Swart Night is a power level unit that is plugged after the power tubes section, so it allows to drive the power tubes too.
So, the question is: did anybody have experience with the two units? is it worth to go with Swart Night in terms of sound quality?

Thanks everybody

Best,
Diego
