I took the four front screws out and the grill doesnt budge. All other Mesa amps I've owned had the preamp tubes in the back. These are in the front and need to get to them next week when my Doug's set comes in.

The grille is set in a kind of adhesive rubbery gasket that eliminates vibration. You don't need to remove it anyway, remove the 4 screws that hold the top straps and slide the whole thing out
