I am not saying that the resulting unit would sound ideal -- I'm sure it would be a bit boxy -- but would this work? Is the 5:25 Plus chassis the same overall size as the original 5:25 chassis? I have the 5:25 1x10 combo and love it for its size. I love the 5:25 Plus amp for its tone and features. So I'm curious -- hypothetically for now -- if you could make an Express 5:25 Plus 1x10 combo using the chassis and cab from two separate amps? I don't have ready access to an Express 5:25 Plus so I can't measure this for myself. Thanks for any info.
