Mesa Express 5:50 Combo to 4 X 12 Cab

I have a Marshall 4 x 12 1960 Cab. I want to run my 5:50 to it. The rear of the Marshall cab has an 8 ohm imput on the left & 16 ohm input on the right. It also has a Mono/Stereo switch. Above that it says 4 ohms on the left. I am a little confused. How should I plug my 5:50 into my Marshall cab. I am a little confused by the Mesa manual. I went from the 4 ohm out to the 8 ohm input on the 4x12. I think that's right.

Any suggestions or a quick lesson in ohms...?

Unplug the mesa speaker. Get a speaker cable. Plug the 8 ohm output on the Mesa to the 8 ohm input on the speaker cab. That should do it.

Thanks. I got it figured out now. The left input on my Marshall cab is 8 ohms Mono. 8 ohms to 8 ohms makes sense. I was confused by the stereo option.
