Does the new Express 5:50 Plus footpedal work with the old 5:50 amp?
I'd like to know how the "solo" button works with the older amps...if it works at all.

No. The old one has a 5 Pin Connector, the new one has 8 Pins.

The Button on the Footswitch switches a Function, which is implemented inside the Amp on or off.
Since the old Express has no Solo-Function implemented, it can´t be switched on or off.
 
Thanks. I thought that was extreme wishful thinking. I can't believe I bought this amp a week before the Plus came out. My amp is great, but I really would like the Solo feature.
