Effects Loop help

Hello Guys,

I just got the 5:25 today, still sounds awesome.

I am having problems with the effects loop. Looks like it runs in Series, not parallel.

I am using a Boss GT8 for effects, I run it using the 4CM. The GT8 controls the Volume, changes the channel, adds Wah, Distortions, not to mention thr many effects, Tuner.

When I use the clean channel and then add distortion, I can still hear the clean tone and well as the distortion. I am used to putting the knob on Wet, but there is no wet. So I assume that the amp can not run in parallel.

This doesn't seem to be a problem on the dirty Channel as adding a distortion boost seems to mix very well.

Any Ideas, how to solve my problem.

The Express loop is series. Check the GT-8 internal send/return loop, as it can be set to parallel.

I got it working, as usual it is always something you least expect.

I accidentally disengaged the loop on the GT8 - Doh.!!

Starting to sound pretty awesome.

I'm taking the amp to it's first gig this week.
