Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if the 5watts modes are different.

I would suppose they would be, as the 5 25 has EL84s and the 5 50 has 6L6s.

I am just curious,

yep - they're different allright
It's not just the tubes either
5:50 is a bigger box and 12" speaker = fuller bottom end & fatter sound.
Plus it has less amp hiss.
Gotta get something for the extra $$$
check one out
