Build short cable for footswitch.

I want to build a short foot switch cable that comes out of the amp about 9 inches and ends.
The reason is I don't want to carry it in the amp and I don't want to plug and unplug each time.

So can any one help with what the male and female 5 pin plugs are and where I can find.
I have given though to purchasing an extra foot switch cable from Mesa, but that seems like overkill.

I have looked on-line for a similar set of plugs, but have not had any luck finding the same as what is on the cable.

Any ideas where to look??

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's a standard MIDI DIN cable. You can probably get any length from a music store in the keyboard department.

i get them from electronic supply stores, both local and online. They are usually standard 5pin DIN cables.
