After doing side by side and swapping speakers around last night, I am convinced that the 10 inch Mesa Black Shadow that came in my 5.25 Express is actually an Eminence Ramrod. I swear that a blind man would never be able to tell them apart. Yeah, the Ramrod is a 75 watt rated speaker, but I'll be darned all to heck if they dont feel and sound like identical twins. If you close your eyes and put one in each hand, you absolutely cannot tell which is which. Hook each one up to the same amp, you cannot tell which one you are hearing.
With the cloak of secrecy surrounding Black Shadow specs (I cant find anything anywhere that tells what the E50 specs are) I would defy anyone to come up with info that shoots down my theory....... enquiring tone chasers want to know! 8)
