I would like to try that combo and am wondering the difference as well.
Cudbucket, could you describe the difference in tone between the stock Mesa tubes versus the JJ's? Thanks.
I'd have to say they're a bit more closed or focused. A pinch higher gain too. And I'm not necessarily saying they're better. Just different. I like them alot and I liked the Mesa tubes too.
