Hello.

I have a Mark IV and sometimes the Rhy 2 channel doesn't work, but only when I select it using the PU-3 footswitch. If I select it using the dial in the back of the amp, it works fine. When it doesn't work, the light above it's volume knob doesn't illuminate and there is no sound at all from the amp.

It seems obvious that this is the footswitch or the footswitch cable, but is there a chance that it's one of the tubes or something with the amp itself?

The cable end where it attaches to the amp is not in great shape. Could a faulty cable cause this type of behavior?

Thank you for your help.

Personally, I would tend to discount tubes as being the issue ... much more likely to be either a cable issue or a loose connection within the foot-switch itself.

hello

it is possible to have a bad integrated circuit on FU-3 or Câble problem…
and Don't forget the LDR fonction for Mark4.
