I bought it used in the 1990s. It doesn't have reverb or EQ. I think it's a Mark II but I'm not sure. If it is a Mark II, I don't know if it's an A, B or C. I do note the heading over the Master 1 says "Gain Boost" as opposed to "Pull Deep", so I am leaning towards a A or B. It also does have the captions above the knobs so it probably isnt a Son of Boogie. I dont know where to look for the serial number. There is a sharpie note in the board that says: LJ 3/3/82

Per the photo, the front side has 7 knobs: Volume1, Treble, Bass, Middle, Master1, LeadDrive, LeadMaster with captions over 5 of them: PullBright on Volume1, PullShift on Treble, GainBoost on Master1, PullLead on LeadDrive, and PullBright on LeadMaster. The right side has 2 throw switches: standby/on, and power/on. The back side has a 3 position throw switch for Ground, a knob and plug for slave, a plug set for effects send/return, a Presence knob, no reverb, and three different plugs for speakers. It has a Celestion G12T-75 speaker.

Hi There..
You mave a nice 60 watt Mark IIB....I have one too...Great amps by the way ;)

Thank you, MKIIB, I really appreciate it. I did a cleaning on it and *think* I may have located the serial number. There is an "8800" stamped in it. That and the date written (LJ 3/3/82) corresponds to a IIB. But it's nice to have someone in the know. So, thanks again. I had't turned it on for over 4 years, and I don't remember anything about it, but it's kinda like Christmas all over again! So, I'm playing with the settings and seeing what I can figure out.

I'll be pouring over this board. Already seen some really good stuff. (https://mesaboogie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/218914817-When-was-my-amp-made-) and (http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=59008).

Welcome to the forum
It's a great place with a wealth of Boogie knowledge but it's been a bit quiet of late..
Yeah that's the serial number stamped on the back..Mines is a bit earlier in the 7000 range(1981 model)
If you need to know anything about your amp just ask..I know the amp well and love it to bits.
Enjoy getting to know the amp all over again :)

The serial number is the number stamped into the back plate below where it says SPEAKERS.
