Mark IV channel switching question?

Post by el34sg » Thu Nov 01, 2018 12:33 pm

Is there any way to switch channels on a Mk IV
without using the monster stock foot pedal?
Like the old school channel switching on a Mark II or III?

I'm looking to use the Lead channel and switch to R2.
Not channel one. Just channels 2 & 3.

You will need to leave the selector knob set to FT.SW. If you set it to this with no switches connected it should default to the Lead channel+EQ. If you plug in your tip to ground footswitch to the Rhythm 1 channel external switch you can jump between Lead and Rhythm 1. If you plug in your tip to ground footswitch to the Rhythm 2 external switch you can jump between Lead and Rhythm 2.
But EQ will always be on in the lead channel doing this
Boogie Gear:
83 Mark IIc+ DRG (upgraded IIc I)
85 Mark IIc+ SG
91 Mark IVa
93 Dual Rectifier Rev F Blackface/Chrome Chassis
95 DC-5a
Thiele w/EVM12L
Halfback 2x12 w/MS12 and EVM12L
5 Band Graphic pedal
