I've got the original EV Black Shadow in there now and I've been thinking of something else for a while.
Maybe the Black Shadow Celestion 90 or ???
Any suggestions?
 
So far, I use Vintage 30's and I like how they emphasize the lower mids. You might want to consider Tone Tubby's hemp speakers as well, I hear they're quite good, too. Santana and Clapton use them now.
 
Give the Mesa/Celestion 90 a shot. I've been using them with my MK III's for a long time. I'm very happy with them.
