Here's one for the speaker guru's on the board. Forgive me for my ignorance on this but the EVM 12L pro line in my Mark III died a horrible death last week. Took it to a local amp tech/builder, who informed me that the voice coil is "open", which apparently means it's cooked. I've been searching the web for repair possibilities, with not much luck. Anyone got any experience with this? Is it economically viable to get his repaired, or is it better to buy a new speaker? Any responses are appreciated!
